Primary Duties & Responsibilities :
Articulate, energetic, and professional Field Service Representatives (FSR) are needed to support military and civilian customer operations of UAS’s (Unmanned Aerial Systems). Candidates must be willing to deploy overseas to austere/non-permissive environments 4 months or more a year. FSR’s must become certified Insitu UAS operators. Once certified as an Insitu UAS Operator, the FSR will be available for deployment assignments based on business requirements as recognized by Insitu management. UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) operators are afforded additional time-off post-deployment. Deployments have significant weekly bonuses.
Field Service Representative’s will also be expected to:
- Master customer software applications.
- Assist with mechanical systems operations and repairs.
- Work with customers in the field in a professional environment.
- Once qualified, operate UAS (Unmanned Aerial Systems).
- Work as ground crew for launch and recovery operations assisting other operators and maintainers in the field.
Knowledge – Skills & Abilities Required
:
- Must be able to lift 80 lbs. unassisted and climb ladders.
- Must have excellent customer interaction skills.
- Must be fully able to help execute customer missions.
- Must hold a current security clearance.
- Must have the ability to pass a background investigation.
- Must have an FAA class I or II certification to be an UAS Operator.
- Must be able to pass Medical / Dental /Psychological testing.
- Prefer prior military UAV flight operations, aviation flight operations and/or ship operations experience.
- Prefer a high-degree of computer literacy: prior experience installing computer systems, knowledge of computer networks, and internet knowledge.
- Prefer fiber optics knowledge.
- Prefer aviation experience and any FAA certifications.
Education:
- High School diploma required
- Degree preferred: BS Engineering (aerospace, mechanical, electrical, software engineering desired)
- Prefer previous military qualification as a UAV operator, i.e. Shadow, Hunter, Predator, or military aircrew men, i.e. pilot, navigator, weapons office, weapons controller, flight engineer.
