I know this is just a glorified glider trick, but you have to admit that this is pretty cool. Good job with energy management in estimating the takeoff roll and timing the glide down the valley.

I like the touch of starting the engine at the end. shows he always had an out if he got in trouble.

What would have happened if he had tripped getting back into the thing? Now that would have been embarrassing.
